Flat caps, no whippet
My friend is having a musical themed party tonight & as usual I am down to the wire on the costume front! I thought I might go as Oliver but need to make, borrow, steal a flat cap! And still in the very early stages of putting together a waistcoat! If all fails I' ll resort to the back up plan - if I can think of one!

Busy weekend
I haven't been posting because my pc is still being detoxed (hopefully). This is a bit of a pain as I have been busy making little purses and want to show them off - not that they are great but I enjoy making them with my offcuts of fabric - saves me collecting them and having them sitting around for decades on end!!
But, I am more than a little excited. This weekend OH is visiting me and it feels different to me going to visit him somehow. We have plans for Saturday that could mean a change in our lives, or could amount to nothing whatsoever, it is quite exciting all the same.
Then on Sunday we are off on a foraging walk with our lovely friend Mina, she is a genius at all things foraging and the most enthusiastic 'teacher'. It is great going on these walks with her because she is a little bonkers, very knowledgable and clearly loves showing people the wild food and it's uses. I never tire of these walks (well, afterwards I am bluming knackered but that's all good).
For OH's pending visit, I am going to try and make a cake with the toms of rhubarb I have cut from the allotment, if that fails, I'll revert back to the usual crumble. Wish me luck!!
